How do I book a course?
Message us on WhatsApp, call us or send the enquiry form on our website with the course you need and your preferred dates. Course dates are arranged based on your requirements, and our team will confirm your booking.
When are BLS, ACLS and PALS RQI sessions available?
AHA RQI sessions for BLS, ACLS and PALS are available Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Contact us to reserve a time that suits you.
What are your opening hours?
Our centre is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Sunday.
How long does an RQI renewal take?
An RQI renewal session usually takes about 25 minutes.
How long is my certificate valid?
AHA provider cards are generally valid for 2 years. Please check the expiry date shown on your card. For other courses, the validity depends on the certifying body, so ask us if you are unsure.
What is the difference between AHA and ASHI courses?
We offer BLS and ACLS through both the American Heart Association (AHA) and HSI (ASHI). Employers and licensing authorities may have their own requirements, so please check with your employer or licensing authority which certificate they accept before booking.
Is AHA BLS accepted by DOH?
Requirements can differ by role and can change over time, so we advise checking directly with DOH or your employer to confirm which BLS certificate is required for your licence or position.
What should I bring to the course?
Please bring your Emirates ID or passport, your previous card if you are attending a renewal, and wear comfortable clothing, as some courses include hands-on practice.
Which courses are available online?
Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), Basic Infection Control (BIC), Basic Fire Awareness (BFA) and CSSD are available as live online classes. IPC, BIC and BFA are also available as self-paced online courses. Our online sessions are ACTVET approved.
What language are the courses taught in?
Courses are taught in English, and Arabic support can be arranged on request. Please ask us about language options when you book.
Do you offer ladies-only batches?
Yes, ladies-only batches can be arranged on request. Contact us with your preferred course and dates.
Can you train our staff as a group or at our workplace?
Yes. We train groups from hospitals, clinics, schools, hotels, companies and other organizations at your site, at our centre or live online. See our Corporate & Group Training page or send us your requirements.
Do your courses carry CME credits?
MEDWAY is a DOH Accredited CME Provider (MECMF-2023-000006). CME credits are awarded only for activities approved by DOH, so please ask us whether a specific course or session carries CME credits.
How much do the courses cost?
Fees depend on the course and the number of participants. Please contact us for current fees and available payment methods.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change your date, and we will do our best to help. For details on refunds, please see our refund policy.
Where is your training centre?
We are located at Bin Aweidha Building, Office 102, Khalifa Street, Abu Dhabi. Public parking is available nearby and there is a taxi drop-off point. The building has lift and wheelchair access.
What facilities are available at the centre?
Our training rooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi. Tea, coffee and water are provided, and there is a prayer room in the building.
How can I verify a certificate?
AHA eCards can be verified on the AHA eCards website. For other certificates issued through MEDWAY, contact us with the certificate number and we will help you confirm it.
Can you remind me when my certificate is due for renewal?
Yes. Sign up for renewal reminders on our website and we will remind you before your certificate is due for renewal.
How will I receive my certificate?
Certificates are issued through the applicable pathway for each course after you successfully complete the course requirements. Our team will let you know how and when to expect yours.
